Job summary

Regency Redmond is seeking a full-time cook to prepare and serve meals for residents, oversee daily foodservice operations, and ensure adequate food and supplies are available. Weekend flexibility is encouraged to support resident care and facility needs.

You will follow the menu cycle, maintain a clean kitchen, comply with sanitation codes, manage inventory, and honor resident preferences while supporting a safe, efficient dining environment.

Qualifications

• Food Handlers card (preferred) and ability to meet health requirements by state regulations.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food to residents within the scheduled timeframe.
• Follow the menu cycle, noting changes or substitutions on proper form.
• Maintain a clean, safe kitchen and food service area.
• Comply with state sanitation codes.
• Maintain inventory control, place food orders, receive items, and restock.
• Respect resident food preferences and dietary needs.

As a cook, you will prepare and serve meals, oversee foodservice operation, and ensures adequate food and supplies are available.

You will:

• Prepare and serve food to residents within the scheduled timeframe
• Follow menu cycle, noting changes or substitutions made on proper form
• Clean and maintains a neat, safe working environment, including the kitchen and food service areas
• Comply with state sanitation codes
• Maintain inventory control, places food orders, verifies that items are received appropriately, and restock appropriately
• Ensure that resident food preferences are known and followed

You Currently:

• Can obtain a Food Handlers card. Meet all mandatory health requirements by state regulations.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.
