Job summary

Regency Gresham Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Gresham, OR is seeking a cook to prepare and serve meals for residents within scheduled timeframes. You will follow the menu cycle, monitor substitutions, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen and food service area in compliance with state sanitation codes.

You will also manage inventory, place orders, restock items, and honor resident preferences. Candidates must have or be able to obtain a Food Handlers card and meet health requirements;

• Food handlers card or ability to obtain one.
• Must meet state health requirements.

• Clean and maintains a neat, safe working environment, including the kitchen and food service areas.
• Comply with state sanitation codes.
• Maintain inventory control, places food orders, verifies that items are received appropriately, and restock appropriately.
• Ensure that resident food preferences are known and followed.

You Currently:

• Can obtain a Food Handlers card. Meet all mandatory health requirements by state regulations.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.
