Job summary

Regency Hermiston is seeking a cook to prepare and serve meals for residents, ensuring meals are delivered on schedule and conform to menu cycles. The role includes maintaining a clean kitchen, complying with sanitation codes, and managing inventory and orders to keep adequate supplies.

• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must obtain a Food Handlers card and meet state health requirements.

• Prepare and serve food to residents within the scheduled timeframe.
• Follow menu cycle, noting changes or substitutions made on proper form.
• Clean and maintains a neat, safe working environment, including the kitchen and food service areas.
• Comply with state sanitation codes.
• Maintain inventory control, places food orders, verifies that items are received appropriately, and restock appropriately.
• Ensure that resident food preferences are known and followed.
