Job summary

Paul’s Run Retirement Community in Philadelphia is seeking a Pool/Per Diem Cook to prepare and serve meals for residents, staff, and events. You will follow menus and standardized recipes and assist with therapeutic diets as needed.

The role requires at least a year of kitchen experience; high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Per diem hours include a 11:30am–7:30pm shift as needed, with strong benefits and a supportive team atmosphere.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum one year of culinary experience in a commercial kitchen or high‑volume restaurant.
• Ability to prep and serve for residents, staff and events following menus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve all food for residents, staff and special functions per menu and diet requirements.
• Follow written menus and standardized recipes.
• Prepare therapeutic diets as directed.
• Pool/Per Diem: 11:30am-7:30pm as needed.
