Job summary

R365hire is seeking a Cook to join our kitchen team in Odessa, Texas. You will prepare all served food, plan production to align with meal service hours, and follow recipes and dietary orders. You must operate equipment safely, maintain sanitation, and assist with stock and quality checks.

Prior restaurant cook experience is preferred, with flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement. We offer a dynamic, team-oriented environment with room to grow.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices
• Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock
• Ensure food is stored and cooked at the correct temperature by regulating the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
• Season and cook food according to recipes
• Respond to guest feedback with appropriate urgency and professionalism
