Hamilton Park Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, part of The Allure Group, in Brooklyn, NY, is seeking a Cook to join our skilled nursing facility. You will prepare meals, follow menus and dietary restrictions, and ensure safe food handling and sanitation practices.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Knowledge of dietary procedures.
• COVID-19 Vaccination.
• Preferred: at least one year dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or another related medical facility.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare food in quantities according to the menu, recipe, and number of persons to be served.
• Comply with state, federal, and all other applicable health care, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Monitor and record temperatures in refrigerators and freezers.
• Inspect special dietary restrictions of residents to assure that the correct diet is served to residents.
• Process diet changes and new diets as received from Nursing Services.
• Ensure that food and supplies for meals are readily available.
• Assist in inventorying and storing in-coming food, supplies, etc. as necessary.

Cook Responsibilities
