Job summary

River Glen Health Care Center in Southbury, CT, is hiring a Cook to prepare meals for residents, following federal, state and local standards. The Cook works under the Head Cook and Director of Food Services to ensure safe, high-quality dining.

You should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, and experience in large-volume cooking; strong customer service and English language skills are essential. CareOne offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to grow your career.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility or other related medical facility, preferred.
• Must be able to cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• Strong customer service skills.
