Bronson Club at Storey Lake in Kissimmee, FL is hiring a part-time Cook to join Troon’s hospitality team. The role involves learning standards in food production, maintaining quality, expediting orders, and supporting banquet functions while upholding sanitation and safety practices.

The ideal candidate has an Associates Culinary Degree and at least 2 years of culinary experience; Serv Safe certification is preferred.

  • Checks and dates all deliveries and reports variances.
  • Verifies proper cooler temperatures and daily cleaning.
  • Processes inventory requisition and receives supplies as needed.
  • Prepares the proper amount of food per production plans.
  • Prepares items per recipes for consistent product.

Bronson Club at Storey Lake, located in Kissimmee, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Cook! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Key Responsibilities of the Cook:

  • Learns and maintains standards in food production and quality.
  • Expedites orders in a timely manner.
  • Practices excellent operational sanitation.
  • Executes scheduled banquet functions.
  • Maintains a professional relationship with fellow associates.
  • Helps reduce loss/waste.
  • Communicates equipment repair needs with chef.
  • Actively participates in training efforts.
  • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
  • Checks and dates all deliveries received and report any variances to chef in charge.
  • Verifies that all coolers are at the proper temperatures and are cleaned on a daily basis.
  • Processes inventory requisition and receive supplies as necessary for quality production.
  • Prepares the proper amount of food according to production or forecast sheets and production plans.
  • Prepares items in accordance with established recipes for a consistent product.
Minimum Qualifications for the Cook:
  • Associates Culinary Degree and2 years of Culinary Experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Serv Safe Certified preferred.
