Columbus Country Club, part of Troon International, in Columbus, OH, seeks a Full-Time Cook to join our hospitality team. You will prepare menu items to spec, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and support a safe, guest-focused dining experience.

We require a high school diploma or equivalent, plus Food handler’s and health-awareness certifications. This role offers opportunities to grow within a global leader in golf and community management with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

  • Food handler’s certification and health/alcohol awareness certificates are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen walk-in coolers and storage.
  • Assist with inventory stocking and rotation; ensure invoice accuracy.
  • Prepare menu items to established standards and specifications.
  • Support and uphold the Food and Beverage vision with professionalism and pride.
  • Represent the club professionally to guests and staff.
  • Adhere to safety procedures at all times.

Columbus Country Club, located in Columbus, OH, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Cook! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure cleanliness of kitchen walk-in coolers and storage rooms
  • Assist with stocking and rotation of inventory upon arrival and ensure invoice accuracy
  • Prepare menu items in accordance with established standards and specifications
  • Support and uphold the Food and Beverage vision by fostering respect, warmth, friendliness, and pride
  • Represent the club in a professional manner and promote a positive image to guests and staff
  • Always operate in a safe manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Certificates/Licenses:

  • Food handler’s certification
  • Local health and alcohol awareness certification

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Preferences:

  • Basic cooking skills

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds overhead
  • Frequent bending, turning, kneeling, and stooping
  • Exposure to hot and cold temperatures, fumes, and exhaust
  • Must be able to operate a golf cart in a safe manner
  • Repetitive motion required in food preparation
  • Must stand for extended periods
  • Normal vision and hearing required
