Job summary

Quest Food Management Services LLC is hiring a Cook at the University of St. Francis in Joliet, IL. This full-time position offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 6am to 2pm with no nights, weekends, or holidays.

You will prepare menu items to Quest standards, follow prep lists, assist in cold prep and grab-and-go production, receive deliveries, and uphold HACCP and food safety guidelines. Compensation ranges from $16.00 to $17.00 per hour with full-time benefits available.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen and line service.
• Ability to follow recipes and prep lists.
• Attention to food safety and HACCP guidelines.
• Willingness to work Monday–Friday 6am–2pm.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present menu items to Quest standards.

Position Summary Monday-Friday 6am-2pm. No nights No weekends No holidays! School Schedule.

Prepares and presents menu items during service of the cafeteria to Quest standards. Follows preparation list for items needed for execution of menus and assist in the day to day operations of the kitchen. Duties may include bulk preparation, catering prep, product receiving and cleaning. Assists customers and maintains line in a consistent and professional manner. Cook I will assist in cold prep, salad and grab & go production with recipes. Expected to serve food on the hot line. Follow all HACCP and food safety guidelines. Receives and puts away all kitchen deliveries.
