Job summary

Douglasville Center for Nursing and Healing in Douglasville, GA is seeking a cook to join our team. You will prepare menu items following prescribed recipes and maintain a clean, organized kitchen while supporting residents and staff.

We offer competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, a 12:30 PM–8:30 PM shift, uniform allowance, and growth opportunities. LTC cooking experience and ServSafe certification are preferred or obtainable within 90 days.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of LTC institutional-style cooking experience preferred.
• ServSafe Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of delicious menu items following prescribed recipes.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, utensils, and equipment.
• Ensure quality, cost, presentation, and flavor standards are met.
• Collaborate with residents, staff, and vendors.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned
