Job summary

Woodstock Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a skilled cook to prepare a variety of menu items in a compassionate, resident-focused environment. You will follow prescribed recipes, keep work areas spotless, and assure quality, cost, and flavor meet standards.

Collaboration with residents, staff, and suppliers is essential. Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of LTC cooking experience and a ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).

Qualifications

• 2+ years of LTC institutional-style cooking experience preferred.
• ServSafe Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of delicious menu items following prescribed recipes.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, utensils, and equipment.
• Ensure quality, cost, presentation, and flavor standards are met.
• Collaborate with residents, staff, and vendors.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
