30hop Restaurant & Bar in Coralville, IA is seeking a Line Cook to join our back of house team. You’ll prepare quality meals, follow recipes, and help keep service flowing in a fast-paced kitchen.

This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with pay $16-$22 per hour, based on experience. Benefits include 50% off employee meals, dining discounts for you and guests, EAP counseling, PTO, and health coverage.

Responsibilities

• Restock ingredients and supplies throughout the shift.

30hop Restaurant & Bar in Coralville, IA is hiring Line Cooks to join our back of house team!

We're looking for people who enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen, preparing great food, and collaborating with teammates. As a Line Cook at 30hop, you'll help keep the kitchen running smoothly by preparing quality meals, following food safety and quality standards, and supporting the team throughout service.

30hop is a full-service American restaurant and bar with locations across Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. We're known for great food, craft beer, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Our teams are at the heart of what we do and help create a great experience for our Guests every day.

Pay

$16-$22 per hour, based on experience.

• Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and food preparation standards
• Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation throughout service
• Prepare ingredients, sauces, and other items needed for service
• Properly label, rotate, store, and handle food according to food safety standards
• Communicate with kitchen leadership and teammates to ensure timely and accurate orders
• Restock ingredients and supplies throughout the shift
• Complete assigned cleaning and closing duties
• Support other kitchen stations and prep operations as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Previous line cook or professional kitchen experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Dependable, organized, and attentive to detail
• Willingness to learn and assist wherever needed
• Ability to stand and move throughout the kitchen for extended periods
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 40 pounds
