30hop Restaurant & Bar in Coralville, IA is hiring Line Cooks to join our back of house team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen, preparing great food, and collaborating with teammates, you'll help keep the kitchen running smoothly by preparing quality meals, following safety standards, and supporting the team throughout service.

We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities with shifts varying by schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Previous line cook or pro kitchen experience preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain a clean, organized cooking station.
• Prepare and cook menu items using grilling, frying, sautéing, broiling, and other methods.
• Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and food preparation standards.
• Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation throughout service.
• Prepare ingredients, sauces, and other items needed for service.
• Properly label, rotate, store, and handle food according to food safety standards.
• Communicate with kitchen leadership and teammates to ensure timely and accurate orders.
• Restock ingredients and supplies throughout the shift.
• Complete assigned cleaning and closing duties.
• Support other kitchen stations and prep operations as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

We're looking for people who enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen, preparing great food, and collaborating with teammates. As a Line Cook at 30hop, you'll help keep the kitchen running smoothly by preparing quality meals, following food safety and quality standards, and supporting the team throughout service.

30hop is a full-service American restaurant and bar with locations across Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. We're known for great food, craft beer, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Our teams are at the heart of what we do and help create a great experience for our Guests every day.

Pay

$16-$22 per hour, based on experience.
