Job summary

World Headquarters 101 LLC in Brookings, OR is seeking a passionate Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare and cook menu items, maintain a clean workstation, monitor inventory, and collaborate with staff to fulfill orders with quality and speed.

Qualifications

About the Role:

World Headquarters 101in Brookings, OR is looking for a passionate and skilled Cook to join our kitchen team! Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift

Monitor food inventory, freshness, and proper storage procedures

Assist with food prep including chopping, portioning, and mise en place

Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment

Follow all food safety, health code, and sanitation guidelines

Adapt to varying station assignments including grill, sauté, fry, or prep as needed

Requirements:

Previous experience as a cook, line cook, or in a professional kitchen preferred

Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards (Food Handler's Card a plus)

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency

Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
