Job summary

Bloomfield Care Center in Bloomfield, IA is seeking an evening shift full-time Cook to join a friendly, supportive team in a Skilled Nursing setting. You will prepare and serve meals that meet residents' dietary needs, ensure food safety, and observe proper temperatures while following recipes for large volumes.

Prior SNF foodservice experience is preferred; training will be provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, a tenth (10th) grade education.
• Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals that residents enjoy while meeting dietary needs.

As a Cook you will provide residents with one of their favorite parts of the day! Your work ensure our residents receive the high standard of food quality they have grown to expect at Bloomfield Care Center by preparing and ensuring residents receive the appropriate food items for each meal in accordance to their dietary needs, ensuring the safety of food and equipment by recording temperatures, and following recipes for preparing large volumes of food. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive a pleasant and safe dining experience.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:
