Job summary

Rehabilitation Center of Belmond is seeking a 2nd shift part-time cook to join our friendly, caring team and provide residents with high-quality meals.

You will prepare meals, monitor dietary needs, record temperatures, follow recipes for large-volume service, and help ensure a pleasant and safe dining experience for residents. A 10th-grade education is required; previous skilled nursing foodservice experience is preferred but we are willing to invest in the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10th grade education.

Responsibilities

As a Cook you will provide residents with one of their favorite parts of the day! Your work ensure our residents receive the high standard of food quality they have grown to expect at Rehabilitation Center of Belmond by preparing and ensuring residents receive the appropriate food items for each meal in accordance to their dietary needs, ensuring the safety of food and equipment by recording temperatures, and following recipes for preparing large volumes of food. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive a pleasant and safe dining experience.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a tenth (10th) grade education. Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
