Job summary

C-MAC seeks a hands-on Chief Operating Officer to lead global operations across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and logistics. Reporting to the CEO, the COO owns end-to-end responsibility for all sites and drives performance, standardization, and growth in demanding, high-reliability environments.

Based in Belgium or Poland with regular travel to international sites, the role requires a proven leader who translates strategy into action and builds a safety-focused, high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in senior operations leadership within electronics manufacturing, EMS, or high-reliability environments.
• Proven track record driving Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement across multiple sites.
• Strong understanding of customer-driven manufacturing with complex quality and delivery requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the global operations organization with site managers in Belgium, Poland, the UK, and Canada.
• Drive operational excellence across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and logistics; emphasize standardization and performance.
• Establish and enforce best-in-class processes, KPIs, and benchmarks across all sites.
• Champion customer-focused operations aligned with quality, delivery, flexibility, and cost requirements.
• Oversee capacity planning, footprint optimization, and resource allocation for current operations and future growth.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and safety standards for high-reliability EMS manufacturing.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and PM to support business development and NPI.
• Lead digitalization, operational efficiency, and scalability initiatives.
• Foster a high-performance culture with clear accountability and leadership development.
