Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Technical Maintenance Mechanic for our Hopedale, MA facility. You will troubleshoot, repair, install, and perform preventive maintenance on conveyor systems and material handling equipment in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, the ability to read schematics and manuals, and experience with CMMS tools. Day shift with competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial maintenance in a warehouse/distribution environment.
• Extensive experience troubleshooting conveyor systems.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• Experience with multimeters and diagnostic tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic controls-related issues on material handling equipment.
• Maintain and repair conveyor systems, sortation equipment, gearboxes, motors, VFDs, sensors, bearings, chains, belts, rollers, actuators, cylinders, and other components.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment including balers, air compressors, dock equipment, and other warehouse support systems.
• Observe equipment in operation, identify root causes of failures, and implement corrective solutions.
• Dismantle, inspect, repair, rebuild, or replace defective equipment as needed.
