Job summary

A.P. Moller - Maersk in Stockton, CA is seeking an experienced Technical Maintenance Mechanic to support a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will troubleshoot and repair conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and control systems, while maintaining equipment reliability and safe operations. Ideal candidates bring 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and familiarity with CMMS and electrical schematics.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing.
• Extensive experience troubleshooting and repairing conveyor systems.
• Strong knowledge of conveyors, motors, gearboxes, bearings, chains, belts and rollers.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic controls issues on material handling equipment.
• Maintain and repair conveyors, sortation equipment, gearboxes, motors, VFDs, sensors, bearings, and components.
• Perform preventive maintenance and participate in continuous improvement of equipment reliability.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and troubleshoot PLC/controls issues when needed.
