Job summary

OnTrac is seeking a Maintenance Technician II – Conveyor Systems in Logan Township, NJ. The role focuses on keeping conveyor systems and material handling equipment running smoothly, performing preventive maintenance, and repairing components as needed.

The candidate will work a night schedule, with potential overtime and 24/7 coverage. Required are a high school diploma or GED and 1 year of related maintenance experience; familiarity with electrical schematics and LOTO procedures is essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or trade school certificate preferred.
1 year of related experience in industrial maintenance or automated conveyor systems.
Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
Ability to lift 60 pounds routinely and operate in a 24/7 environment.
Knowledge of LOTO, OSHA requirements, PM programs, and safe electrical work practices.

Responsibilities

Ensure proper operation of conveyor systems and material handling equipment, addressing breakdowns promptly.
Perform preventive maintenance on conveyors and related equipment.
Change and repair parts, rebuild and align gears, shafts, pulleys, and belts.
Consult illustrated parts breakdown and operation manuals for repairs.
Maintain a safe work environment and conduct daily inspections.
