Job summary

OnTrac is seeking a Maintenance Technician II – Conveyor Systems in Fontana, CA. The role focuses on inspecting, maintaining, and repairing conveyor systems to keep operations running smoothly.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and follow safety procedures under a structured schedule requiring flexibility for after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years or more experience in mechanical and electrical equipment.
• High voltage electrical experience required.
• Current Driver's License and clean driving record.
• GED or high school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper operation of conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on conveyors.
• Change and repair parts, rebuild and align components.
• Read illustrated parts breakdown manuals and repair manuals.
• Maintain a safe work environment per the Safety Program.
• Occasionally work after hours to ensure systems run at optimum capacity.
• Conduct daily inspections of machinery for potential problems.
