Job summary

OnTrac is seeking a Maintenance Technician I (LTSC) in Logan Township, NJ to inspect, maintain, and repair conveyor systems. The role requires adherence to federal/state regulations and company standards, with a focus on safety and operational reliability.

The position offers an hourly base pay with potential for overtime and shift differentials. Schedule is Wednesday through Saturday, 1:00pm–11:30pm, with full-time benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school certificate preferred.
• 1 year of related experience in industrial maintenance or conveyor systems.
• Exposure to high voltage electrical systems.
• Ability to lift 60 pounds routinely.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper operation of conveyor systems and material handling equipment; respond to breakdowns promptly.
• Maintain and provide routine preventive maintenance to conveyor systems.
• Change and repair parts; rebuild and align equipment including gears, shafts, pulleys and belts.
• Use illustrated parts breakdown and operational manuals for repair and maintenance.
• Conduct daily inspections of machinery for potential problems.
• Occasionally be called in after hours to support operations.
• Maintain a safe work environment following Safety Program policies.
