Job summary

OnTrac is seeking a Maintenance Technician II – Conveyor Systems in Nashville to keep conveyor and material handling equipment operating safely and reliably. The role performs preventive maintenance, troubleshoots mechanical and electrical issues, and drives root-cause actions to reduce downtime.

The ideal candidate has hands-on maintenance experience in a fast-paced environment and can work within a team while following safety protocols and PM programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Experience with industrial maintenance and conveyor systems is expected.
• Proficiency reading schematics and electrical manuals; knowledge of LOTO and PM programs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper operation of conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Repair parts, rebuild and align conveyors, and follow manuals for repairs.
• Maintain a safe work environment and participate in after-hours support as needed.
• Document inspections and assist other maintenance team members.
