Job summary

Deckers Outdoor Corporation in Indiana is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for our Midwest Distribution Center. You will perform both skilled and semi-skilled maintenance on conveyors, electrical systems, and related equipment under minimal supervision.

The role requires 4–6 years in industrial maintenance, experience with pneumatics and AC/DC motors, and the ability to read schematics; safety compliance and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years industrial maintenance experience with conveyors, controls and operating systems in a medium to large DC or manufacturing operation.
• Experience around pneumatics, AC/DC motor skills and industrial electrical systems.
• Read and comprehend technical manuals, schematics and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled facility maintenance, including patching walls/floors, replacing lights, and office furniture moves.
• Troubleshoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance on conveyor equipment under minimal supervision.
• Document all work orders, labor, parts and inventory used to close work orders.
• Follow lockout-tag out and other safety/environmental procedures.
• Troubleshoot and repair controls, cabinets, power supplies and field devices on conveyors.
• Enter data in the CMMS and perform minor electrical work (conduit, wiring).
• Perform analytical tests on conveyor systems and document results.
