Job summary

OnTrac is hiring a Maintenance Technician I – Conveyor Systems for the South Brunswick site. You will inspect, maintain, and repair conveyor systems to ensure safe and efficient operations, in compliance with federal and state regulations.

The role requires the ability to lift 60 pounds, exposure to high voltage, and a valid driver's license. The position offers full-time hours with a shift from 1:00pm to 11:00pm, Wednesday through Saturday, with training schedules initially Monday through

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical degree or trade school preferred.
• 1 year of related experience in industrial maintenance or conveyor systems.
• Exposure to high voltage electrical systems.
• Ability to lift 60 pounds regularly.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper operation of conveyor systems and material handling equipment, responding to breakdowns promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance on conveyors and related equipment.
• Change and repair parts; rebuild and align gears, shafts, belts, pulleys.
• Consult illustrated parts breakdown and operation manuals during repairs.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas; conduct daily inspections.
• Occasionally be called after hours to support 24-hour operations.
• Maintain a safe work environment per Company Safety Program.
