Job summary

OnTrac is hiring a Maintenance Technician II – Conveyor Systems in Logan Township, NJ. You will support preventive maintenance and rapid repair of conveyor and material handling systems in a high‑volume environment.

The role requires a high school diploma (technical training preferred) and 1 year of related experience, with strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills and knowledge of LOTO/OSHA rules. OT and shift work may apply.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or trade school certificate preferred.
1 year of related experience in industrial maintenance or equivalent.
Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
Experience in 24/7 operation environments.
Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
Able to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
Knowledge of LOTO, OSHA requirements, PM programs, and safe electrical work practices.

Responsibilities

Ensure proper operation of conveyor systems and material handling equipment; respond to breakdowns.
Perform preventive maintenance on conveyors and sortation equipment.
Change and repair parts; rebuild and align equipment components.
Use manuals and schematics for repairs and modifications.
Maintain a clean and safe work area; conduct daily machine inspections.
May be called after hours to maintain capacity.
