Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a proactive Controls Systems Technician for 2nd shift on the West Coast. You will troubleshoot and maintain material handling equipment like conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, and HMI systems.

You will repair PLC-based control systems, monitor system performance, and work with Facilities Maintenance to resolve issues. The role requires an associates degree and 3+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronic technology/engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of systems control knowledge and PLC troubleshooting experience.
• Working knowledge of ladder logic and PLC software such as Allen Bradley RS LOGIX 500 or 5000.

Responsabilités

• Maintain material handling control systems, including PLC/PC controllers and industrial networks.
• Monitor MHE metrics and partner with facilities/operations for performance issues.
• Perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance of computer-based process control, SCADA and PLCs.
