Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. in partnership with a Fortune 500 company, is looking to hire Maintenance Mechanics to support our client’s peak retail season in Moreno Valley, CA. These fixed contract roles (with potential to be hired on) won’t last long!

What you’ll do includes preventative maintenance on material handling equipment, troubleshooting electrical controls and PLCs, and performing installations or changes on conveyors. You’ll also handle hydraulic/pneumatic systems and keep CMMS records.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years mechanical maintenance experience, conveyor systems preferred.
Must have basic manual hand and power tools.
Ability to weld and use a cutting torch.
Knowledge of painting, minor plumbing and lighting.
Forklift or other powered industrial vehicle experience and certification.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on conveyors, sortation systems and forklifts.
Troubleshoot electrical control systems and PLC-related components; install/setup VFDs and servo motors.
Carry out maintenance projects on conveyors including installation, removal and changes.
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Identify repair parts and maintain records (CMMS).
