Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. in partnership with a Fortune 500 company is seeking Maintenance Mechanics for Moreno Valley, CA. These contract-to-hire positions support peak retail season with 2nd and 3rd shifts, offering $30–$37/hour plus shift differential.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance on conveyors, troubleshooting electrical and hydraulic systems, and CMMS record-keeping. Bring hands-on tools, welding ability, and forklift certification.

Qualifications

2+ years mechanical maintenance experience (conveyor systems highly preferred).
Must have command of basic manual hand/power tools including drills, grinders and saws.
Ability to weld and utilize a cutting torch.
Knowledge of painting/minor plumbing/lighting.
Previous forklift or other Powered Industrial Vehicle experience and certification (Raymond Arial Lift highly preferred).

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on mechanical material handling equipment, including conveyors, sortation systems, and forklifts.
Troubleshoot electrical control systems including motors and PLCs; install/setup VFDs and servo motor controls.
Carry out maintenance projects on conveyors including installation, removal and process changes.
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Identify and locate required repair parts for failed systems; maintain work orders and time sheets.
