Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in California to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve conveyor systems and related equipment in a warehouse setting. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure high reliability and minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with conveyors and industrial equipment, can independently troubleshoot and repair, and adheres to safety standards including OSHA and LOTO requirements. Overtime may be necessary.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of industrial maintenance, manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, facilities, or related maintenance experience.
• Experience working with conveyor systems.
• Basic pneumatics and hydraulics knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical components including bearings, belts, chains, motors, and gearboxes.
• Assist with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system troubleshooting.
