Job summary

Maersk, through Performance Team in the United States, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair conveyor systems and material handling equipment in a warehouse environment. The role requires 1–3 years of industrial maintenance experience with hands-on mechanical skills and basic electrical troubleshooting.

Shift is First Shift, 6:00 am–2:30 pm, Monday–Friday. Ideal candidates will document work electronically, use CMMS software, and support safety and continuous

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of industrial maintenance, manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, facilities, or related maintenance experience.
• Experience working with conveyor systems: bearings, belts, chains, motors, gearboxes, rollers, conveyors, basic pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and standard maintenance equipment.
• Basic computer skills and ability to document work electronically.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical components including bearings, rollers, belts, chains, motors, and gearboxes.
• Assist in troubleshooting basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Document maintenance findings and report equipment concerns to maintenance leadership.
• Support efforts to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
