Job summary

Seneca Resources is seeking an Assistant Manager, Conveyance in Madison, AL, to partner with the department leader on production planning, material flow, and customer delivery performance. This role focuses on maximizing on-time delivery, inventory control, and efficient material supply to production lines.

The candidate will lead the Conveyance team, develop processes for material flow, coordinate with purchasing, and support continuous improvement initiatives to meet growth objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 4 years of equivalent work experience or training.
• Proficiency with computers and software applications.
• 2–3 years of supervisory experience in a production environment, preferably within the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety by following policies, wearing PPE, and maintaining safe work practices.
• Manage inventory levels, purchasing activities, and supply base relationships.
• Develop long-range planning initiatives for production control and support plant growth.
