Job summary

ND Paper is seeking a Converting Lead for the 2nd shift at the Sturtevant, WI site. You will serve as the technical and operational leader on the floor, driving standardized setups, troubleshooting support, tooling readiness, and operator development across converting operations.

The role bridges operators and supervisors, enabling management to focus on shift leadership while you drive process discipline, machine performance, and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3–5+ years experience in corrugated converting operations.
• Prior leadership, lead operator, or trainer experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Mandarin a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safety as a core value and promote safe practices across converting operations.
• Lead and enforce standardized setup procedures for rotary die cutters and flexo folder gluers.
• Ensure tooling, plates, dies, and inks are prepared and ready prior to production and coordinate tooling readiness.
• Track and analyze downtime related to tooling, ink, setups, and operator issues; implement corrective actions.
• Train and mentor operators in setup, troubleshooting, and process control; develop technical capability across the team.
• Support production issues and maintain quality standards; uphold KPIs like uptime and setup time reduction.
