Job summary

ND Paper is seeking a Machine Assistant 2 on the Converting Floor in Sturtevant, WI. You will support the operator and Machine Assistant 1, help with setup and changeovers, and serve as the primary quality checkpoint during production runs.

Expect 3rd shift 10 PM to 6 AM with overtime as needed. Prior corrugated or packaging experience is a plus; high school diploma required. Training provided to develop operating competency.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a job ticket and match box dimensions.
• Basic math skills: count bundles and verify counts.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; Mandarin a plus.
• Punctual, coachable and reliable for shift work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup, operation, and changeovers under supervision.
• Act as quality checkpoint during production runs.
• Safely operate the machine for short periods when needed.
• Maintain clean, organized output stacking per ticket requirements.
• Document quality results on the log and escalate defects.
• Support with end-of-shift cleanup and housekeeping.
• Communicate production counts and quality concerns in real time.
• All other duties as assigned.
