Job summary

ND Paper is seeking a Utility Operator – Converting in Sturtevant, WI. The role requires working across multiple converting machines, setting up at shift start, and ensuring first-piece verification before production begins.

The successful candidate will be technically proficient, adaptable, and able to move between duties to support production as needed. This is a 3rd shift position with strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and operate multiple converting equipment via on-the-job training.
• Read and interpret job tickets, print layouts, and material specifications.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality; critical for shift coverage.
• Attention to detail in a production environment; accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate converting equipment safely and to production standard (flexo folder gluers, die cutters, bundler, stitcher).
• Set up equipment at shift start, confirm dies, plates, scores, glue settings, and job parameters.
• Complete first-piece verification before full production and confirm specs.
• Adjust machine settings during runs to maintain quality and speed.
• Transition between equipment as directed by Lead or Supervisor.
