Job summary

Symple Lending, Inc. in Tampa, FL is seeking a Software Engineer – Conversational AI to design, build, and maintain the cloud infrastructure and REST APIs powering our AI voice agents and supporting real-time contact center operations.

You will develop TypeScript AWS Lambda REST APIs, build conversational agents using ElevenLabs and Zoom Virtual Agent, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable AI solutions.

Qualifications

• Production experience with TypeScript/Node.js on cloud-based APIs.
• Experience building REST APIs and integrating with AI platforms.
• Strong TDD practices using Jest and Git workflows.
• Familiarity with conversational AI tools and AWS services.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop TypeScript AWS Lambda REST APIs for AI voice agents.
• Build and maintain conversational AI agents (ElevenLabs, ZVA).
• Implement infrastructure as code using AWS CDK.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable APIs.
