Job summary

Ascensus seeks a software engineer to design, develop, and support conversational AI experiences for contact center platforms. You will build voice bots, chatbots, and agent-assist tools using NICE CXone and Azure OpenAI, with a focus on prompts, intents, and knowledge retrieval.

You will integrate AI capabilities with internal systems, deploy containerized apps via Docker and Azure DevOps, and collaborate across cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Experience building web applications with .NET and REST APIs in distributed systems.
• Proven ability to design, implement, and integrate AI/LLM driven solutions.
• Familiarity with Azure OpenAI, LangChain, and AI agent tooling.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and IaC is preferred.
• Strong collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain conversational AI experiences using NICE CXone and Azure OpenAI.
• Create and optimize prompts, intents, and knowledge retrieval for customer experiences.
• Integrate AI capabilities with internal systems via APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Build containerized apps with Docker and deploy via Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuously improve AI solutions.
