General Hotels Corporation is seeking a Convention Services Manager at Crowne Plaza Indianapolis Downtown – Union Station. This role leads the service delivery for weddings, meetings, conferences, and catered events, coordinating with Sales, Catering, Banquets, Culinary, and operations to ensure flawless execution and exceptional client experiences.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for weddings, meetings, conferences, and catered events from turnover through post-event follow-up.
• Build strong client relationships and deliver personalized service exceeding expectations.
• Plan and coordinate all aspects of events incl. spaces, setups, AV, décor, transportation, and food & beverage.
• Prepare and maintain accurate BEOs, Group Resumes, and rooming lists.
• Lead pre-convention, pre-event, and post-event meetings with clients and hotel teams.
• Coordinate with Sales, Catering, Banquets, Culinary, Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering for seamless execution.
• Monitor events on-site and resolve operational challenges promptly.
• Identify opportunities to upsell catering, AV, upgrades, and other hotel offerings.
• Negotiate enhancements within departmental guidelines.
• Conduct site inspections and banquet facility tours as needed.
• Analyze guest satisfaction and implement improvements.
