Job summary

Sheraton Greensboro/Koury Convention Center is seeking a seasoned Convention Services Manager to coordinate and service conference, convention, corporate, and social groups. You’ll guide menu, beverage, room configuration, and AV needs while upselling minimums and ensuring guest satisfaction.

In this role you will communicate client needs across hotel departments, stay organized, proactive, and detail oriented, with strong food and beverage knowledge and excellent communication skills to delight

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–5 years experience in meeting/event planning.
• Excellent food and beverage knowledge required.
• Highly organized, creative, and able to multi-task.
• Strong attention to detail is essential.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people and stay composed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and service conference, convention, corporate, and social groups with guest rooms and catered functions.
• Guide menu and beverage selections, room configurations, and AV needs; upsell food/beverage minimums.
• Communicate client/group needs to all hotel departments.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and hotel profitability while adhering to policies.
