Job summary

Stonebridge Austin is hiring a Convention Services Manager to lead event services, ensure client satisfaction, and drive revenue for a portfolio of meetings and conventions at the Embassy Suite Austin Central. You will work closely with the Director of Sales to maximize banquet revenue and guest experience across multiple events.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in event or hotel management, a hospitality-related degree, and strong organizational and communication skills in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Min 2 years in event/hotel/venue operations or convention services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of event planning and F&B management.
• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple events and meet goals.

Responsibilities

• Achieve meeting planner satisfaction scores and revenue targets.
• Conduct client solicitations, tours and entertainment to secure business.
• Monitor trends within market segment.
• Understand hotel operations and policies.
• Ensure accurate banquet event orders and communicate changes.
• Maintain community presence to generate business.
• Assist with promotions and sales blitzes.
• Attend regular management meetings and collaborate with leadership.
• Build relationships to foster repeat business and client satisfaction.
• Ensure events meet client specifications and high service standards.
• Provide timely reports on event outcomes and feedback.
