Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; three years in hotel convention services, sales, or banquet management.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Must be able to use Word, Excel, MICROS and a property management system.
• Knowledge of Delphi is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Finalize food, beverage and meeting room setup after group turnover.
• Coordinate and negotiate meetings, rooms, and menus for large groups.
• Upgrade menus to maximize profit through upsell opportunities.
• Provide weekly banquet sales projections and seek upsell opportunities.
• Adhere to department SOPs and maintain quality standards.
• Establish and maintain customer contact at functions.
• Prepare Banquet Event Orders in Delphi and coordinate with sales on room blocks.
• Coordinate logistics with hotel departments for group events.
