Visit Indy is seeking a Convention Sales Intern to assist the sales team in daily tasks and special projects. The role offers in-office work around 20 hours per week, contributing to positioning Indianapolis as a top meeting destination.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in event management, tourism, or hospitality programs, with at least three semesters completed. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an event management, tourism, hospitality, or related degree program required.
• Completion of at least three semesters of a degree program.
• A student member of a collegiate chapter of a professional organization preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support Sales daily activities as assigned.
• Coordinate logistical items to support Sales Customer Site Visits.
• Participate in Business Development Team Research.
• Enhance, develop, and maintain Sales tools and resources through research and data maintenance.
• Participation in Convention Sales team meeting and partner meetings as needed.
• Support Sales Special Projects and related initiatives as assigned.
