Job summary

Monumental Weddings & Events in Indianapolis is seeking an Event & Wedding Intern to help bring weddings and special events to life. You will assist with tours, guest welcoming, event details, and day‑of coordination at multiple venues. This paid internship requires ~20+ hours weekly with evening and weekend availability.

As part of the team, you’ll gain hands‑on experience, support the Event Manager, and learn CRM usage while assisting with bookings and on‑site setup and breakdown.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a hospitality program (Sophomore level or above).
• Previous customer service, hospitality, event, or related experience required.
• Approx. 20+ hours per week with evening and weekend availability.
• Flexible schedule based on weddings, tours, and business.

Responsibilities

• Support Event Manager with coordination and execution of weddings, special events, tours, and other activities.
• Assist with family and sales‑related matters as directed by the Event Manager.
• Welcome and assist guests during weddings, tours, and events with a professional experience.
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries courteously and professionally.
• Receive inquiries, complete paperwork, and direct questions to staff.
• Assist with tours for prospective clients and wedding bookings and final meetings.
• Assist with setup, execution, and breakdown of weddings and events; travel between locations as needed.
• Operate basic computer, audio/visual, and event equipment as needed.
• Provide attentive guest service and assist with guest requests.
