Job summary

San Carlos Apache Tribal Gaming is seeking a Convention Coordinator to manage events, meetings and weddings under the supervision of the Food and Beverage Service Manager. You will coordinate staff from F&B, Hotel, Golf, Gaming and Guest Services to ensure outstanding guest experiences.

Responsibilities include selling services, arranging meetings, coordinating logistics, processing event paperwork, and ensuring timely communication with clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus three years events planning experience; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Some college coursework in related area preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate events, meetings and weddings with guests.
• Staff events with needed employees including bar and security.
• Organize meetings and plan events.
• Process paperwork for all events.
• Arrange meetings with guests to coordinate events.
