Driftwood Hospitality Management in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a seasoned Convention Services professional to coordinate all aspects of group and convention events, working across sales, catering, and operations to deliver seamless service from pre-event to post-event.

The role emphasizes maximizing room and meeting space revenue, leading pre/post-event meetings, and maintaining brand standards while ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 2 or more years of hotel catering and rooms experience in the hospitality industry.
• Proven track record of providing quality service and guest satisfaction.
• Previous leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, upsell and detail the program with the client including space/ times/ equipment.
• Monitor Group Room Requirements to ensure commitments from agreements.
• Manage function details to maximize revenue while ensuring quality.
• Lead pre-event and post-event meetings for assigned groups.
• Communicate requirements to hotel departments and resolve issues.
• Oversee guest experiences from turnover through post-event.
