Job summary

Chicken-Ranch-Casino in Jamestown, CA is seeking a Sales and Events Coordinator to join the Sales and Events team. You will assist in booking, selling, planning, and coordinating events while ensuring exceptional Guest service and adherence to budgets.

You will support the Group Sales Manager, understand logistics, maintain timely timelines, and help drive repeat business through strong client relationships and event execution.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate).
• 1+ years of sales and/or party planning experience.
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional Guest service with a positive attitude.
• Promote the Players Club loyalty program to Guests.
• Track all group sales leads, sales, and revenue collected along with event inventory.
• Manage and update the group sales database system, as well as group blocks with the hotel division.
• Provide a supportive role for clients by turning their vision into a reality and surpassing their expectations.
• Manage groups each season from initial proposal to close-of-sale, seating, and collection of payment.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee private receptions and events for group sales.
• Build and maintain Guest relationships leading to repeat business by responding to special requests, complaints, and inquiries.
