Job summary

Global Connect Technologies is seeking an automation professional to support production and perform commissioning of PLC/HMI/SCADA systems. The role requires hands-on PLC programming, GCCS2 familiarity, and strong problem-solving at customer sites.

You will design, test, and validate control logic, alarms, sequences, and operator interfaces, ensuring reliable integration with industrial networks and field devices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support and commissioning at customer sites.

Job description

GCCS2 and ideally GCCH required (GCCS2 as a minimum)

Production support and Commissioning

Designed, developed, and supported industrial control systems using PLCs, HMI/SCADA, and automation technologies.

Developed and modified PLC control logic, sequences, interlocks, alarms, and machine-control functions.

Configured and integrated GCCS2 control systems with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and industrial communication networks.

Performed controls system commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, testing, and validation at customer sites.

Developed and updated HMI/SCADA screens, including equipment status, alarms, trends, diagnostics, and operator controls.

Education Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related technical field

Strong knowledge of industrial automation, PLC programming, HMI/SCADA, electrical controls, instrumentation, and industrial communication networks

Hands-on experience with PLC-based control systems, machine automation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and system integration

Working knowledge of GCCS2 control systems, controls architecture, I/O systems, and equipment integration
