Job summary

ProMach is seeking a Controls Technician to commission, test and debug packaging/palletizing/stretch wrapping equipment. You will provide electrical and controls support to Mechanical leads, Service Department and Brenton customers.

The role includes troubleshooting PLC, robotic and HMI programs, updating electrical schematics, commissioning robotic systems, and traveling up to 35% for installation support while following Brenton standards.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting PLC, robotics and HMI programs.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and 2D/3D drawings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot PLC, robotic and HMI programs for new and retrofit projects.
• Collaborate with electrical designers on updates to electrical schematics.
• Commission, test and debug robotic systems at Brenton facility.
• Ensure Brenton electrical standards are followed in controls designs.
• Provide technical support for customers in the field and via phone.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 35% for installations.
