Job summary

ProMach Brenton is hiring a Controls Technician to commission, test and debug packaging equipment. You'll provide electrical and controls support to Mechanical leads, Service Department, and Brenton customers, troubleshooting PLC, Robotic and HMI programs on new and retrofit projects.

Domestic and international travel up to 35% may be required. Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs, Fanuc robots, VFDs, HMIs, pneumatics, safety circuits and 2D/3D AutoCAD drawings is preferred; base hourly pay ranges

Qualifications

• Experience with PLCs, robotics, and HMI integration on industrial equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and AutoCAD drawings.
• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills across teams.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot PLC, robotic and HMI programs for new and retrofit projects.
• Commission, test and debug robotic systems at Brenton facility.
• Ensure Brenton electrical standards are followed in controls designs.
• Provide technical support to customers in field and via phone.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 35% as required.
